Attorney Stacey Heinonen has dedicated her legal career to representing clients in a range of personal injury matters, including no-fault insurance, serious impairment, dog bite, medical malpractice, and general negligence. Specializing in appellate practice, Heinonen has briefed, argued, and won many pivotal disputes in the Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Today, Heinonen provides her expertise and support across Liss & Andrews’ growing case load, particularly with strategizing, drafting, and arguing complex motions before the various courts.
Heinonen graduated from the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She earned her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1996. Heinonen is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
