Liss & Andrews, PC, a preeminent boutique law firm specializing in automobile No-Fault law, is seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant for a full-time, in-office position.

Job Description:

• Collection, organization and processing of No-Fault claim documents and medical information from clients, case managers, and physicians for use in communication to insurance companies in quadriplegic and severe brain injury cases.
• Under the supervision of an attorney, assist with legal documents for filing with the courts.
• Reliably and consistently manage calendar including recording and monitoring deadlines
• Prepare correspondence and draft pleadings
• Interact with insurance adjusters
• Maintain a well-organized electronic filing system
• Adapt to new work assignments as needed to assist attorneys
• Communicate appropriately and effectively with clients
• Use Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel

Qualifications:

Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and have strong organizational skills to work in a professional environment.

Experience processing auto No-Fault claims with either a legal, insurance or medical background is preferred.
